Injection Molding Machine Operator

Job Description

We are on the hunt for a skilled Injection Molding Machine Operator to join our outstanding production team. In this role, you will set up, operate, and monitor injection molding machines to produce top-notch molded plastic parts while ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up injection molding machines and ensure all parameters are correctly configured.
• Conduct quality inspections of products during and after production.
• Communicate with team members to enhance production efficiency and safety.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain records of production output and equipment maintenance.
• Strictly follow health and safety regulations during operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
• Assist in training junior operators on machine operations.
• Support the production supervisor in meeting KPIs and targets.
• Contribute to a positive team environment through effective communication.

Advantageous

• Experience with automated injection molding systems: Hands-on experience with advanced machine interfaces and automated systems.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles: Familiarity with lean techniques for efficient production.
• Understanding of quality management systems: Awareness of ISO standards and quality assurance processes.
