Job Description

We are seeking a talented Pastry Sous Chef to join our vibrant culinary team in Harlow. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exquisite pastries and desserts, as well as experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will play a pivotal role in supporting our Head Chef in overseeing the pastry section, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute innovative pastry dishes for special events.
  • Manage the pastry section and oversee preparation schedules.
  • Conduct quality control by tasting and adjusting desserts.
  • Assist in managing inventory and minimizing wastage.
  • Develop training programs for kitchen staff on pastry techniques.

Requirements

Education
  • Advanced Culinary Arts certification is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years in high-end pastry kitchens
