Job Description

As a Venue Manager, you will oversee the operations and management of our venue, ensuring smooth execution of events while delivering exceptional customer service. Your role will involve collaborating with event planners, managing staff, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of event execution at the venue.
• Develop strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure the venue is maintained to the highest standards and is safe for all events.
• Manage event budgets and forecasts to align with financial objectives.
• Deliver exceptional service to clients and their guests.
• Supervise staff effectively, including recruitment and training.
• Adhere to health and safety standards in all operations.
• Identify new revenue opportunities and cost-saving measures.
• Create performance reports for events and operational metrics.
• Work with marketing teams to enhance venue visibility.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management or Hospitality
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of prior experience in venue or event management

Technical Skills

• Social Media Management
• Budget Management Software

• Proven track record in budget management: Experience in overseeing financial aspects of events.
• Strong negotiation skills: Ability to negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
