Job Description

We are seeking a Chief Sustainability Officer to lead sustainable business practices and report development. This role is crucial in driving our commitment to environmental stewardship and transparency, guiding our organisation in achieving sustainability goals.

Responsibilities

• Design strategic frameworks for sustainability initiatives across the organisation.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of sustainability programs and recommend improvements.
• Facilitate training and education on sustainability for employees.
• Develop and present sustainability metrics to the board of directors.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to promote sustainability efforts externally.
• Ensure compliance with sustainability legislation and standards.
• Engage in corporate social responsibility initiatives that align with sustainability goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field
• Master's degree in Sustainability or related field preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 7 years in sustainability-focused roles, with 5 years in managerial positions.
