Job Description

We are seeking a talented Chemical Engineer to be part of our innovative team in Belfast. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in chemical processes and product development. You will engage in exciting projects aimed at enhancing our production efficiency and sustainability metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Study and analyse chemical processes for potential enhancements.
  • Implement engineering solutions to improve productivity.
  • Coordinate with health and safety teams to ensure safe working practices.
  • Participate in project management efforts to drive tasks to completion.
  • Use modelling software to simulate chemical processes.
  • Prepare and conduct presentations on engineering concepts and processes.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders and suppliers as needed.
  • Monitor industry trends to innovate processes accordingly.
  • Assist in cost estimation and budgeting for engineering projects.
  • Support quality assurance efforts to maintain high standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline is advantageous
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in a chemical or manufacturing setting
