Job Description
As a Foundry Mold and Coremaker, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining molds used in the manufacturing process. Your expertise in mold tooling and repair will be essential to enhancing production efficiency and product quality.
Responsibilities
Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on molds.
Support the production team in mold setup and changeover.
Identify and troubleshoot issues with molds.
Ensure molds are properly stored and maintained.
Assist in the design of new molds and mold improvements.
Maintain high standards of safety and quality control.
Document maintenance activities and report findings.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with engineering for mold design optimization.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Formal training in mold maintenance and repair is preferred
Experience
2-3 years of experience in mold tooling maintenance and repair
