Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our talented team in Southampton. The chosen candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems in various engineering projects. A strong technical background and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of mechanical systems.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all maintenance activities.
  • Identify areas for improvement in mechanical processes.
  • Support project teams by providing mechanical insights and assistance.
  • Help to train apprentices and junior staff in mechanical practices.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all tasks.

Requirements

Education
  • NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant mechanical experience
