Job Description

We're on the lookout for a Cyber Defense Consultant to help us fortify our cybersecurity measures in Aberdeen. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in threat analysis, risk management, and cybersecurity frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects aimed at improving cybersecurity frameworks.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate security practices.
• Advise on potential threats and respond with corrective actions.
• Utilise threat intelligence to bolster security measures.
• Coordinate with external partners for comprehensive security assessments.
• Stay informed about regulatory changes affecting cybersecurity.
• Mentor junior cybersecurity staff and promote ongoing education.
• Facilitate tabletop exercises for incident response training.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in cybersecurity roles, focusing on defence and compliance

Certifications

• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer

Languages

• English: Fluent
