Job Description

As a Foundry Mold and Coremaker, also known as a Sand Cutter, you will play an essential role in crafting and shaping materials for various construction and landscaping projects. Your skills in handling both hand tools and machinery will be crucial to our operations, as each project demands precision and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Cut and shape sandstone blocks using hand tools and machinery.
• Monitor equipment performance and maintain operational standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and practices.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control team to ensure products meet specifications.
• Read and understand technical drawings for production.
• Help improve production efficiency through innovative techniques.
• Keep accurate logs of work completed and materials used.
• Assist in inventory management and supply ordering of materials.
• Train apprentices and new hires on proper techniques.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production progress and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Work experience in construction or landscaping is preferred.

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role is required.
