We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to enhance our security framework in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in cybersecurity principles and practices, ensuring our systems are well-protected against vulnerabilities and threats.

Responsibilities

• Lead security initiatives that protect organizational data.
• Analyse network traffic to detect suspicious activity.
• Test and evaluate new security technologies.
• Create awareness campaigns around cybersecurity issues.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance regulations.
• Assist in the development of disaster recovery plans.
• Provide suggestions for security improvements.
• Participate in incident response drills to ensure readiness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Security
• Relevant certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years experience in cybersecurity roles
