Mill Roll Rewinder

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Mill Roll Rewinder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to efficiently rewind paper mill rolls. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Run roll rewinding machinery following best practices and safety regulations.
• Conduct quality checks on rewound rolls to ensure compliance with standards.
• Communicate with production staff regarding roll quality and production schedules.
• Assist in training new employees on machinery operation and safety practices.
• Document daily production output and report any issues to management.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for production processes.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational training in machinery operation is preferred.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the paper industry.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• Quality control processes

Soft Skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Relevant safety certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent
