Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cost Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating and bidding on mechanical projects, providing technical input and guidance to project teams, and ensuring project profitability.

Responsibilities

• Estimate costs and prepare bid proposals for mechanical projects.
• Review construction drawings, plans, and specifications for accuracy.
• Work closely with engineering teams to understand technical requirements.
• Monitor and report on project financial performance.
• Participate in post-bid reviews and strategy meetings.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Utilise software tools for estimating and project tracking.
• Assist in the development of project schedules and budgets.
• Provide insights for continuous improvement in estimating processes.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• Experience with commercial and industrial mechanical projects

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Understanding of PPSA: Knowledge of Pre-Construction Services Agreements.
