Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Dietary Specialist to join our healthcare team in Colchester. This role requires expertise in nutrition and a passion for improving patient health through dietary planning and education. The successful candidate will collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop tailored nutritional programmes that meet the needs of diverse patient groups.

Responsibilities

• Perform dietary assessments and nutritional counselling for patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to address dietary concerns.
• Develop educational materials on nutrition for patients.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition interventions and make necessary changes.
• Support clinical staff in understanding dietary needs and restrictions.
• Engage in continuing education to enhance knowledge in nutrition.
• Liaise with external nutrition experts when needed.
• Provide feedback on menu planning to ensure patient satisfaction.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
• Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical nutrition role
