Job Description

As a Foreign Language and Literature Teacher at our academy, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction to speakers of other languages. Your role involves not just teaching, but also designing engaging materials to enhance student learning.

Responsibilities

  • Design engaging and interactive teaching materials for lessons.
  • Incorporate cultural elements and activities into the curriculum.
  • Encourage students to participate in extra-curricular activities to promote language use.
  • Support students with different learning abilities and adjust to their needs.
  • Evaluate and refine curricula based on student feedback and assessments.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to departmental projects.
  • Provide mentorship for less experienced teachers and teaching assistants.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external educational standards.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote the academy.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field
  • Master's degree in TESOL or Linguistics is preferred
Experience
  • Prior teaching experience in ESOL or language-related fields is highly desirable.
