We are actively seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing and improving our security posture, ensuring robust protection against cyber threats. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security solutions and drive best practices across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Assess cybersecurity risks across various projects and systems.
• Design and implement security solutions to mitigate threats.
• Monitor and respond to security events and alarms.
• Prepare reports on security incidents and compliance.
• Advise on security best practices and risk management.
• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Develop incident response plans and conduct drills.
• Collaborate with external partners to improve security.
• Conduct security training sessions for staff.
• Manage security tools and technologies effectively.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles
