Job Description

We are currently seeking experienced Bus Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating buses, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers, and maintaining an efficient service. This role requires excellent driving skills, exceptional customer service, and a strong commitment to adhering to schedules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate buses safely and efficiently according to schedules and routes.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.
• Assist passengers on and off the bus in a courteous manner.
• Check and maintain the condition of the bus before and after trips.
• Handle fare collection and manage cash transactions accurately.
• Respond to passenger feedback and complaints effectively.
• Complete daily inspection reports and ensure bus cleanliness.
• Be prepared for emergency situations and have a clear plan of action.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to improve service delivery.
• Engage in ongoing training related to safety and customer service.

Requirements

Education

• GCSEs or equivalent qualifications preferred

Experience

• Experience in passenger transport preferred, especially in managing fare collections.

• Navigation

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
