Job Description

We are on the lookout for a qualified Nurse Educator who is enthusiastic about developing and enhancing educational programs for our nursing staff. This role includes designing, implementing, and evaluating educational initiatives that will contribute to the professional growth of our team and improve patient care outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of educational plans tailored to meet the needs of nursing staff.
  • Evaluate educational outcomes and adjust programmes based on effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning within the nursing team.
  • Provide guidance on evidence-based practices in nursing.
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of new nursing educators.
  • Represent the education department at institutional meetings and workshops.
  • Promote interprofessional collaboration through educational initiatives.
  • Develop online learning modules to cater to diverse learning preferences.
  • Engage in research and development of best practices in nursing education.
  • Support nursing staff through mentoring and constructive feedback.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the UK
  • Postgraduate qualification in Nursing Education (preferred)
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in nursing education or related training environment.
Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Certifications
  • Certified Nursing Educator (CNE) (preferred)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
