Job Description

As a Correctional Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security within our correctional facilities. Your responsibilities will include supervising offenders, ensuring compliance with procedures, and facilitating rehabilitation programs. Responsibilities

• Oversee the movements of offenders throughout the facility.
• Conduct security checks and searches to prevent contraband.
• Maintain open lines of communication with offenders to facilitate trust.
• Collaborate with mental health professionals to support offender rehabilitation.
• Assist in developing strategies for offender reintegration.
• Educate offenders on available resources and programs.
• Contribute to facility safety audits and improvements.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives related to rehabilitation.

Requirements

Education

• GCSEs in Maths and English
• Degree in Criminal Justice or related field (advantageous)

Experience

• Experience in correctional facilities or security roles.

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
