As a Biofuels Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our biofuels production facility. Your role will involve managing day-to-day activities, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and implementing strategies to optimise productivity.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage the operational staff, fostering a collaborative and productive culture.
  • Implement quality control measures throughout the production process.
  • Ensure timely reporting of plant metrics and compliance documentation.
  • Develop and refine standard operating procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities and raw materials usage.
  • Drive initiatives focused on reducing waste and improving resource efficiency.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements in biofuels.
  • Act as the primary point of contact during audits and inspections.
  • Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the team.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or related field
  • Relevant certifications in biofuels production are a plus
  • Biofuels Production Knowledge In-depth understanding of biofuels production processes.
  • Quality Control Procedures Expertise in implementing quality control procedures in production.
  • Data Analysis Ability to analyse production data to drive decision making.
  • Leadership Proven leadership skills to manage and motivate teams.
  • Problem-solving Strategic approach to identifying and solving operational challenges.
  • Communication Effective communication skills to engage with stakeholders and teams.
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management
  • Six Sigma Certification
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience with project management methodologies: Experience in leading projects using Agile or similar methodologies.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations: Deep understanding of health and safety practices related to plant operations.
