Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated GIS Technician to join our Leeds office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GIS, spatial analysis, and environmental data management. This role involves supporting our consultants in project delivery through precise GIS mapping and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Utilize GIS technologies to enhance data collection and analysis.
• Prepare and present GIS maps for various client projects.
• Work closely with other specialists to interpret spatial data.
• Maintain current knowledge of GIS trends and best practices.
• Perform quality control checks on data accuracy and integrity.
• Assist in the development of new GIS methodologies.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage

Experience

• Prior experience in GIS and environmental analysis is preferred

Languages

Advantageous
