Histotechnician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Histotechnician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing tissue samples, operating laboratory equipment, and conducting tests to support pathological investigations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specimens by embedding, sectioning, and staining.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated and maintained for optimal performance.
• Follow and adhere to laboratory safety protocols consistently.
• Assist in the development of new testing methods.
• Participate in quality assurance activities.
• Troubleshoot any issues with laboratory equipment and procedures.
• Document processes and results in compliance with regulations.
• Support and collaborate on research projects when needed.
• Actively participate in continuing education and professional development.
