Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Materials Engineer with a comprehensive understanding of metallurgy and material properties to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the production of high-quality castings through effective process development and quality control.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design and execution of metallurgical processes within the foundry.
  • Ensure product quality through rigorous testing, analysis, and monitoring.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement effective production strategies.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
  • Maintain accurate reporting on production metrics and quality assurance.
  • Conduct research on new materials and techniques to enhance product offerings.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and optimising manufacturing processes to reduce waste.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for metallurgical processes and standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or a related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in foundry metallurgy or materials engineering
