Job Description

As a Sports Commentator, you'll provide live and recorded commentary for various sporting events, utilising your deep knowledge of sports to engage audiences. This role demands excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with production teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present commentary for live sporting events across multiple platforms.
• Conduct interviews and showcase athletes' perspectives during broadcasts.
• Serve as a key source of information for audiences during events.
• Write and edit scripts and articles for promotional content.
• Attend pre-event briefings to align with production goals.
• Provide on-camera analysis and contribute to highlight reels.
• Ensure compliance with broadcasting regulations and standards.
• Take part in audience engagement initiatives post-broadcast.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Sports Journalism or Media Studies

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in sports journalism or broadcasting.
