Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Exhibit Curator to oversee our arts and media exhibitions in Motherwell. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in curatorial practices, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for engaging the community through innovative artistic expressions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of innovative exhibitions that push the boundaries of traditional curation.
• Work alongside community organizations to foster partnerships and outreach.
• Develop and implement exhibition strategies that attract diverse audiences.
• Manage exhibition timelines and ensure project milestones are met.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on exhibitions to various stakeholders.
• Assess and respond to visitor feedback to improve future exhibitions.
• Contribute to fundraising efforts by proposing grants and sponsorship opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Arts Management, Museum Studies, or related fields
• Master's in a relevant area is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of practical experience in curatorial or related fields
