Pump House Operator

Job Description

The Pump House Operator will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of pumps in a water treatment facility. The operator will ensure uninterrupted water supply to customers by monitoring the pumps and making necessary repairs when needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on all pump and water treatment equipment.
• Ensure smooth operations through routine maintenance checks.
• Identify and troubleshoot any mechanical issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols in all operational activities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective operation.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in water treatment facilities is advantageous

Experience

• Previous experience as a pump operator or in a similar role preferred.

• SCADA systems

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with SCADA systems: Proficiency in operating SCADA for plant monitoring.
