Agricultural Equipment Operator

Job Description

The Ginning Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining ginning equipment to process raw cotton into lint. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the training of new operators on equipment and safety protocols.
• Calibrate machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety.
• Respond to production challenges promptly and effectively.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production updates and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational training is a plus

Experience

• Experience in textile industry is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of ginning processes

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with quality control processes: Experience in maintaining quality standards in manufacturing.
• Previous experience in textile manufacturing: Knowledge of the textile industry and its production practices.
