Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Civil Engineer to join our Sheffield team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing infrastructure projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all works adhere to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full project lifecycle from design to execution.
  • Draft engineering proposals and project scopes.
  • Evaluate tender submissions and contribute to the selection of contractors.
  • Implement innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.
  • Conduct site visits and manage installations.
  • Promote adherence to best practices in health and safety.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders throughout the project.
  • Utilise project management software to track progress.
  • Ensure all engineering designs comply with relevant legislation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Chartered status is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
