Job Description

We are looking for an experienced NDT Underwater Welder to join our team in Bristol. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in underwater welding and non-destructive testing methods, ensuring the integrity of underwater structures.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct visual inspections of underwater welds and structures.
  • Prepare welding equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Produce accurate records of testing and inspection results.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering and logistics teams.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues in underwater operations.
  • Engage in continuous training to stay updated on techniques and innovations.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of underwater projects.
  • Ensure all materials used meet quality standards.
  • Maintain a tidy and efficient workspace.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding project status and results.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Degree in Marine Engineering or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in marine engineering or related underwater operations
