We are looking for an experienced NDT Underwater Welder to join our team in Bristol. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in underwater welding and non-destructive testing methods, ensuring the integrity of underwater structures.
Responsibilities
Conduct visual inspections of underwater welds and structures.
Prepare welding equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Produce accurate records of testing and inspection results.
Collaborate effectively with engineering and logistics teams.
Identify and troubleshoot issues in underwater operations.
Engage in continuous training to stay updated on techniques and innovations.
Assist in the planning and execution of underwater projects.
Ensure all materials used meet quality standards.
Maintain a tidy and efficient workspace.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding project status and results.
Requirements
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Degree in Marine Engineering or related field is preferred
Experience
5+ years of experience in marine engineering or related underwater operations
