Job Description

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our teaching staff and helping students thrive in a nurturing environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting with classroom activities, supervising students, and managing administrative tasks as required.

Responsibilities

  • Support teachers in preparing instructional materials and setting up classrooms.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Assist in maintaining classroom discipline and behaviour management.
  • Help students with special needs with daily living tasks and personal care.
  • Facilitate learning activities to keep students engaged.
  • Work alongside teachers to create inclusive lesson plans.
  • Assist with technology and educational resources in the classroom.
  • Help develop relationships with students, promoting a positive school community.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant qualifications in education or child development are advantageous.
Experience
  • Previous experience working with students with special educational needs is advantageous.
Technical Skills
  • Strong attention to detail

Languages
  • English: Fluent
