Job Description

The Hoist and Winch Operator, also known as the Pier Runner, plays a critical role in overseeing the operations at a busy pier. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all patrons while managing the day-to-day operations effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Develop emergency response procedures in collaboration with management.
  • Organize staff schedules and manage shift rotations.
  • Continuously assess risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant vocational training is a plus
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in marine operations
