Job Responsibilities
  • Design and implement programs tailored to meet the needs of young people.
  • Support young people in developing essential life skills.
  • Collaborate with educational institutions to support at-risk youth.
  • Facilitate workshops on topics such as career readiness and health.
  • Create a safe and supportive environment for youth engagement.
  • Engage in continuous professional development.
  • Act as a positive role model for young people.
Job Requirements
  • Higher Education qualification in youth work or related field
  • Relevant certifications like NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Youth Work
  • Youth Engagement Expertise in engaging and supporting young people.
  • Conflict Resolution Skilled in de-escalating conflicts and resolving disputes.
  • Program Planning Proficiency in planning and executing youth programs.
  • Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Empathy Ability to understand and relate to the challenges faced by young people.
  • Teamwork Experience working effectively in team settings.
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policies: Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Experience in mentoring programs: Proven track record in mentoring and supporting young people.
