We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team in Liverpool. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and reconciling accounts. Responsibilities

  • Manage daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager on financial planning.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial procedures.
  • Support in training new staff on financial systems and processes.
  • Conduct monthly financial reviews and assessments.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss financial strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Accounting or Finance
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is an advantage
Experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a bookkeeping role
Technical Skills
  • Bookkeeping Software (e.g., Xero, FreshBooks)
  • Financial Reporting
Soft Skills
  • Organisational Skills

Certifications
  • Certified Bookkeeper
  • CPAs preferred but not mandatory
Languages
  • English: Fluent
