Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our dedicated team in Cardiff. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting health assessments, managing workplace health initiatives, and providing expert guidance on occupational health matters.

Responsibilities

• Review and update health policies to align with best practices.
• Mentor and support junior nursing staff within the occupational health team.
• Act as a liaison between management and employees regarding health-related concerns.
• Participate in training needs analysis and skill development initiatives.
• Utilize data to inform health strategy and initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of developments in occupational health legislation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health Nursing is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a healthcare environment, with a focus on occupational health

Technical Skills

• Health Screening and Assessment
• Occupational Health Legislation Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Leadership

Certifications

• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN)
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
