Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Burnley team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in mechanical design and analysis, with a passion for innovation and problem-solving. You will work on a variety of projects, from conceptual design to prototype development.

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews and ensure all requirements are met.
• Develop project timelines and monitor progress against milestones.
• Create innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of project developments and outcomes.
• Foster a culture of safety and compliance within the engineering team.
• Engage in research to support product development and innovation.
• Facilitate communication between engineering, production, and management teams.
• Prepare technical documentation for regulatory submissions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant engineering role

• AutoCAD
• Project Management Software

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with renewable energy systems.: Knowledge in mechanical engineering applications in renewable energy.
