Job Description

As a Mixing and Blending Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will play a crucial role in the production process by accurately blending colors to create paints and coatings that meet strict industry standards. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Check machinery and equipment to ensure they are functioning correctly.
• Prepare materials and equipment for mixing and blending processes.
• Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary.
• Review production schedules to identify and prioritise tasks.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
• Collaborate closely with quality control teams to ensure product specifications are met.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Report any discrepancies or issues to the Production Manager promptly.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant vocational training is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in colour mixing or related field

Technical Skills

• Color measurement devices
• Mixing equipment operation

Soft Skills

• Attention to health and safety standards
• Time management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with health and safety regulations: Knowledge of industry standards and regulations to ensure safe operations.
• Ability to train junior staff: Experience mentoring or training less experienced team members.
