Job Description

As a Pre-Press Proofer, you will ensure the accuracy and quality of printed materials before they are dispatched for production. Your responsibilities include reviewing digital files, preparing proof samples for client approval, and communicating with both clients and production teams to resolve any discrepancies. Your keen eye for detail will be essential in maintaining our high standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks on digital files to prevent errors in printing.
• Coordinate with the design team to recommend improvements.
• Ensure all proofs are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
• Utilize pre-press software to enhance workflow and efficiency.
• Train junior team members on best practices in pre-press processes.
• Identify areas for process improvement.
• Collaborate with the production team to verify job specifications.
• Document and communicate any project adjustments to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Graphic Communication or related fields preferred

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in pre-press operations

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Printing Processes
• Typing and Data Entry Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Digital Asset Management Systems: Experience using systems that store, organize, and share digital assets.
