Dispensary Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Dispensary Technician to join our pharmacy team in Peterborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting pharmacists, managing inventory, and ensuring the efficient operation of our dispensary.

Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact for patients inquiring about medications.
• Ensure medications are stored safely and securely.
• Review and update patient records as necessary.
• Assist in implementing new pharmacy procedures.
• Promote a positive work environment and team collaboration.
• Handle payments and process transactions.
• Assist with the marketing of pharmacy services.
• Participate in health promotion activities and screenings.

Requirements

Education

• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services
• Pharmacy Technician qualification is preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
