Geological Technician (Acid Tester)

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Acid Tester, where you'll conduct essential quality assessments on acid products. You will ensure strict adherence to testing protocols and safety standards, making a significant impact on our product integrity.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine acid tests using precise methodologies.
• Document and report all results to the Quality Assurance department.
• Ensure all lab equipment is maintained and calibrated correctly.
• Investigate and report any compliance issues related to acid testing.
• Engage in ongoing professional development related to chemical testing.
• Assist in training new staff on testing procedures and safety measures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in chemical testing

Technical Skills

• Laboratory safety protocols
• Data analysis software

Advantageous

• Experience working in a manufacturing or chemical production environment: Prior experience in relevant settings enhances practical knowledge.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., COSHH): Understanding of Chemicals, Health and Safety Regulations is beneficial.
