Job Description

We are currently seeking an IT Support Technician to join our expanding team in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting users with IT queries. This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and a passion for technology.

Responsibilities

  • Handle and prioritize incoming support requests via helpdesk.
  • Provide desktop support to users, including troubleshooting software issues.
  • Maintain and monitor network security protocols.
  • Assist in the deployment of new systems and applications.
  • Ensure backups and data recovery processes are in place.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are advantageous
Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role
