Drafting Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Drafting Technician to join our dynamic team in London. You will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans, collaborating closely with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy in our engineering and construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Utilise advanced CAD software to generate high-quality technical drawings.
• Work closely with design and engineering teams to deliver projects on time.
• Ensure all drawings are accurate, detailed, and meet necessary standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs.
• Participate in design review meetings and contribute to discussions.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Drafting or a related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role preferred

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• 3D Modelling Software

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Critical Thinking

Advantageous

• Experience with 3D modeling software: Hands-on experience in 3D modelling for better design visualisation.
• Familiarity with project management software: Knowledge of tools like MS Project or similar for tracking project timelines.
