Production Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Production Manager to oversee and enhance the manufacturing process in our Sheffield facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, possess excellent leadership skills, and be committed to maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage all production staff and ensure a high level of employee morale.
• Review and develop standard operating procedures for production.
• Engage with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary materials.
• Tailor production schedules as needed to meet client demands.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and internal policies.
• Prepare detailed reports for the management regarding production status.
• Develop and manage the production budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to maximize productivity.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or related field
• A Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production management
