Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team in Dumfries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for any safety concerns and repair as needed.
• Work closely with service advisors to provide customer satisfaction.
• Stay up to date on the latest automotive technologies and trends.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.

Requirements

Education

• Formal automotive training or apprenticeship

Experience

• Experience with hybrid or electric vehicles is a plus

• Engine Repair
• Brake Systems Knowledge

Certifications

• EV and Hybrid Vehicle Qualification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• ASE Certification: Possession of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications.
• Experience in a dealership environment: Previous experience working in a dealership service department.
