Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Pipeman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out various pipe-related tasks and ensuring the efficient operation of pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation, repair and maintenance of pipelines.
• Test and inspect pipelines on a regular basis.
• Document all processes and maintain logs of operations.
• Ensure effective operation of pipe handling and laying machinery.
• Comply with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Work collaboratively within a team to achieve deadlines.
• Participate in safety audits and provide feedback for improvements.
• Support senior staff with project planning and execution.
• Assist with training new team members as needed.
• Ensure availability of required materials and equipment for tasks.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational training in Pipefitting or related field
• Certifications in pipe installation or inspection preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in pipefitting or a similar role

Technical Skills

• Pipe Inspection
• Pipe Installation

• Adaptability

Certifications

• CSCS Card
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with pipeline construction: Hands-on experience in building pipeline systems from the ground up.
• Knowledge of various types of pipelines: Familiarity with gas, oil, and water pipeline systems.
