Job Description

As an Environmental Consultant in Birmingham, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, conducting impact assessments, and advising clients on best practices for sustainability. Your expertise will help shape policies that promote environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities

  • Lead environmental assessments and surveys.
  • Offer guidance on waste management and pollution control.
  • Prepare environmental management plans for clients.
  • Review and challenge proposed developments from an environmental perspective.
  • Facilitate community engagement and public consultations.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with environmental laws.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
  • Train clients on sustainability best practices.
  • Monitor compliance with environmental legislation.
  • Compile and present environmental audit findings.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Master's degree in Environmental Management is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or a related field
