Drilling Foreman

Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Drilling Foreman to oversee and manage drilling operations. This role requires strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge of drilling techniques and equipment including, but not limited to, offshore drilling operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily drilling operations and lead the drilling crew effectively.
• Communicate with project managers about drilling progress and issues.
• Participate in safety meetings and ensure a strong safety culture.
• Monitor and evaluate drilling performance data to make necessary adjustments.
• Coordinate the transportation of equipment and materials to the drilling site.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in drilling operations.
• Assist in the development of drilling operational plans and strategies.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements in drilling technology and processes.

Requirements

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is a significant advantage.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in drilling operations, particularly in a supervisory capacity.

Advantageous
