Job Description

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer based in Sheffield to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative mechanical designs and working collaboratively on projects that span a variety of industries.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced engineering software to develop and simulate designs.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Lead projects from concept to completion with minimal supervision.
• Communicate design ideas and concepts to stakeholders clearly.
• Gather feedback from users to refine and improve product designs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development

Technical Skills

• 3D Modeling Software
• Thermodynamics

• Effective Communication
• Analytical Thinking

Languages

• English: Fluent
