Job Description

As an Urban Planner at Planners United, you'll focus on developing and implementing urban and community plans, ensuring sustainable and environmentally friendly growth in Bath and surrounding areas. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to create innovative solutions for urban development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead community workshops to educate and gather input on urban planning projects.
  • Analyse data to inform decision-making concerning urban growth and development.
  • Collaborate with local businesses and community organisations on development efforts.
  • Develop visual presentations and materials to communicate planning ideas effectively.
  • Supervise junior planners and interns, providing mentorship and guidance.
  • Write and edit technical reports and planning documents.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or relevant field
  • Master's degree in Planning or equivalent is preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in strategic urban planning

Certifications
  • Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) Membership
Languages
