Job Description
We are seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team in Hull. The ideal candidate will support teachers in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. Responsibilities include assisting with lesson preparation, providing one-on-one support to students, and supervising classroom activities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support the integration of technology in the classroom.
  • Assist students in developing their literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Help in organizing educational resources and equipment.
  • Encourage involvement in extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Provide pastoral care and emotional support to students.
  • Maintain records of student performance and behaviour.
  • Facilitate communication between students and teachers.

Job Requirements
  • A-levels or equivalent qualifications
  • Teaching Assistant Diploma is an advantage
  • Communication Strong ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.
  • Organizational Skills Exceptional organizational skills for managing teaching resources.
  • Behaviour Management Experience in managing student behaviour and promoting positive interactions.
  • Teamwork Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • IT Skills Proficiency in using basic educational technology and software.
  • Empathy Ability to understand and relate to student needs and feelings.
  • Adaptability Flexibility to adapt to changing classroom environments and student needs.
  • Creativity Innovative approach to educational support and engagement.
  • Patience Exemplary patience when dealing with students of varying abilities.
  • Child Protection Training
  • First Aid Certification
  • English (Fluent)
