Job Description

We are seeking skilled Sewing Machine Operators to join our vibrant team in Manchester. The successful candidates will operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture high-quality textile products, ensuring precision and adherence to design specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform lockstitch sewing operations to attach tape to fabric edges.
• Monitor sewing speed and ensure high-quality stitch consistency.
• Coordinate with supervisors to troubleshoot any quality issues.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production improvements.
• Use hand tools for machine maintenance and adjustments.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal training in sewing techniques preferred

Experience

• Prior experience as a Sewing Machine Operator or similar role is highly desirable

Technical Skills

• Lockstitch sewing
• Machine maintenance

• Attention to detail
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with industrial sewing machines: Prior experience operating industrial sewing machines is advantageous.
