Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher who can provide educational support and guidance to students with learning disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of special education methods and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to student needs.
  • Establish a positive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Develop and maintain strong communication with students’ families.
  • Identify specific learning barriers and devise appropriate training interventions.
  • Incorporate technology effectively into the learning process.
  • Manage and resolve conflicts in the classroom constructively.
  • Support students in their emotional and behavioural development.
  • Engage in ongoing training and collaboration with staff to promote best practices.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives to enhance the educational experience.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Education
  • Additional certifications in special education are desirable.
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience.

  • Knowledge of IEP Development

Languages
